I primarily work with anodized aluminum rings, but I may use stainless steel rings to attach clasps. All of the clasps I use are stainless steel and the ear wires are hypo-allergenic.

Anodized aluminum is pretty easy to keep looking bright and shiny! If it gets dirty, just rinse it off in lukewarm water, add a little bit of soap if needed, and pat dry.

Like most jewelry, keep away from harsh chemicals such as chlorine, bleach, and rubbing alcohol.
