This is a collection of projects I’ve made for myself over the years and might serve as inspiration for other chainmaillers or just to showcase what can be done with this medium.
Basically, these are all art side quests I take while learning more about chainmaille and my artists voice.
Please enjoy! :)
I made this chainmaille dragon in 2025. She is made out of 14swg gauge aluminum wire and can be worn as a belt. I followed a tutorial from Weaving Links for the base pattern and added a few of my own modifications.
This is a Reticulated Decantha Moth, one of the prettiest micro moths in my opinion. Top photo is a photo I took, lower left is the pattern I made, and the lower right is the finished inlay.
This one is a Maple Caloptilia Moth. made with the same process as the first one.
They look so cute together!
Shoutout to all fellow Star Wars fans out there! This cuff bracelet says 'Hope' in aurebesh (the star wars alphabet).
What's better than a chainmaille Junimo? 3 chainmaille Junimos!
At 15,000 rings woven together over 9 months this is the longest chainmaille project I have ever worked on (Unless you count starting a small business 😅). It's a quote from Galadriel in The Lord of the Rings: "Even the smallest person can change the corse of the future." In Tengwar (A elvish alphabet Tolkien created).
Here's an inlay for all you Stardew Vally fans out there! This is a chainmaille inlay of the 'Moonlight Jellie' banner, it was really fun to make something from one of my favorite games in real life.
